If a creditcard company told you that....
...you were being offered a "free trial memborship" and would not be charged one fucking cent until after the "ftm" was over...
and then you get this notification from your bank saying "x" amount of money was debited from your checking account and it was from "x" credit card company within 24 hours of authorizing a free trial memborship.... how would you feel...what would you do...Nothing...Or be about unleashing the legal dogs...? Holla back... :feels-hot |
whats a free memborship?
|
You should fucking know better

I would go back and re-read the fine print that I glossed over the first time.
it's there.... you just missed it. If there's anyone in this world that has their asses covered, it's credit card companies. |

One possibility is they sent an auth request to your credit card, making sure the funds for the membership are there and securing it for possible future settlement. Some banks notify you of these, some do not as most drop off within 3-7 days without ever being settled.
Most companies do this to verify the card information is valid and that there are funds available, it doesn't mean they're actually taking any money from you. :2 cents: |
