I don't think in the later years any of the things she did on the show were her ideas..

Any guesses on how much jail time she'll get??

How much is K-Mart tied into Martha, I thought it wasn't much more than distributing some of her junk ?

Martha pretty much single handedly saved Kmart. Kmart was in bankruptcy, and now is back afloat thanks to the deal made with Martha.

but that might be hard to maintain when the face of Martha is now a felon.

Strange to think of this one fact.

Martha has been tried and convicted and to the parole officer. Her life is basically crashing in all around her and all are jumping ship.

Kenneth Lay ( Enron's ex-CEO and Chairman) has yet to even be charged....

Strange I think, guess it pays to have tall friends in high places for some.

Stranger yet that the value of the loss Martha would have taken was a fraction of her worth. She could have easliy made that loss up in other lucrative deals.

I thinhk if she can avoid jail time, the brand will remain fairly popular. But images of her going into prison with shackles on will really tarnish the brand. So it will all depend what happens june 17

Kmart is already sinking. It's just taking a few years .

I think minimum sentence on all of the counts she was charged on require jail time so if she doesn't get it then I'd be more worried about the justice system than a brand name.....

got to wonder, what will she pay per sign up ?

I regret that I will not be able to post on GFY for some time, however you should all know that in situations like this, the best thing to do is to vacuum seal your keyboard and wrap it in a nice soft cloth for long term storage so that it will stay preserved and ready for use in the future.

I think, she will make a huge come back!!!!!
