3 months for a jammed thumb. That's one injury that doesn't sound as bad as it seems to be.

Na, they're all set. Between Lee, Williams, Lofton, Matsui and a couple other bench players they should be all set. I wonder if Tony Clark can make the transistion.

How long does it take the body to purge artificial steroids/HGH so that one can pass a drug test? About 3 months... oh, ok... :1orglaugh

I've got no love for Sheff. Dude was a cancer with my Dodgers and is a boldfaced liar when he says he's not been juicing for the past grip of years. A wispy Brewers 3B doesn't start swingin' mad stick like that without a little help from a needle... :2 cents:

Yep, Sheffield's talents are severely outweighed by his shitty attitude. I bet there will be a lot of players on the extended DL for minor injuries while they secretly detox.

Did you see lee paying right field yesterday??? i think it'd be better to have clark at first, lee taking care of right field and giambi DH

Nice diving catch he made in left. :thumbsup

Axeman 03-08-2004 01:35 PM

I bet the Yanks wish they signed Vlade for insurance now!

Good to see some Karma hitting the Yanks even before the year starts.

I try to go a couple times a year - I go to more Red Sox games b/c it's closer. I'm a Yanks fan btw and hate Boston more than anyone.

Why would I convert? Been a Yanks fan all my life. Kinda bothers me though how everyone seems to like them. I remember going to games in the 80's and early 90's when the stadium was pretty empty.

I went to a Yanks @ Devil Rays game 2 years ago and more people were cheering for NY than TB. It's like that at alot of stadiums actually.
