... man, I used to work in a office like that for 4 years, aftre beeing on the job for one year they forgot about me, but I was still getting payed, sometimes I took more than 3 weeks off ... no one noticed. in the end the company went bottom up, otherwise I'd be still working ... errr chilling ... for them.

I'm looking for one of those just to keep me on my feet. Last year I was by no means rich but I would have been considered a big spender and man about town. Just out of school and making(and wasting) money my friends would kill to have.

last month was my best month ever at 62 fundings :/

shows you how much we WONT let through heh

we are more strict than most companies ive been working for in the past, including wells fargo.

one good thing is that EVERY appraisal goes through the review dept.

the basically ensures the callateral just in case ...

as long as the value is there and we hold the lein, doesnt really matter what else we allow through, we will always be protected.

100% right which is why we have EACH one go through a review process.

90% of them come back with stips (conditions) and some are even turned down on the spot.

being in the business so long and working on retail for so long, i know lots of the tricks, and now it is my job to find the shadyness in each deal and make sure the loan is not a bad risk to the company

trust me i COMPLETELY understand and hear it each day from brokers.

but from the inside i can say we are completely different.

the company is not public, it is owned by a single guy, both argent and ameriquest.

he knows ameriquest is shady which is why he wanted his wholesale side to have a new name, seperate entity, etc.

its hard to gain brokers respect being attached to ameriquest, but slowly they are learning how different we are.
