I bought something from someone off of ebay and I gave him ftp access to one of my hosting accounts and it looks like he installed some massrooter and scanning stuff. What a dumb ass. It seems like to much of a coincidense to be some random hacking.

If your system is compromised you have to reformat and reinstall, you can't trust any info that your box gives you from now on and you have no idea what else he might have tampered with. Hope you've got backups!
