good countries to live in?

I'm sick of all this USA bullshit. I decided that I would like to move to another country / city. What are some good countries to live in? What are good cities to live in, in those countries?

I want to movie some place that has a low crime rate and 200,000-400,000 population(like my current town). Most of the people must speak english.

Do any of you have any recomendations?

Vancouver, BC!
It's population is a little more than you wanted, but you could move to a surrounding town like Burnaby or something. It is rated one of the top cities in the world to live. It is pretty mild throughout the winter, surrounded by beautiful ocean, gets pretty hot in the summer, and has beautiful scenery!

Too expensive, though.

Saskatoon and Brandon are much more affordable.

You know I was there recently, and surprisingly enough they have stores now, and gas stations, and restaurants, I saw a few 7-11's, McD's, KFC, BK, movie theaters, and even a shopping mall or two! Can you believe it? Pretty low cose of living too.

What is it you'd be looking for in a city exactly? Because your idea of "nothing" is out to lunch as far as I can tell.

The only reasons you should live in Saskatoon is if you are a farmer, play hockey, or enjoy freezing your ass off!

infecto 03-07-2004 01:44 PM

New Zealand or Japan. Those are my favorite places.
