Easy. Winnipeg. Our liquor stores all have delivery service, and it is web-based as well as by phone :D



But they don't stop off at Safeway and grab you some groceries and other shit. That's a separate call, but it can be done.





But to the others here..... say you're actually busy with work.... you have 4 projects on the table, all with client deadlines, and you have 6 more waiting. You know you're going to be sitting there for the next 3 fucking days with maybe 5 hours of sleep total...... why the fuck not have shit delivered?

It's a question of convenience, and sometimes...... survival.

I used to use Peapod food service here in Chicago for the same reason, pretty convenient but they didn't always have the food you wanted and then subsititute it with some crap you may or may not want. Overall good idea but most midwest folks didn't buy it, I think they went belly up

I live right in the smack of it all so i am lucky enough to live within delivery range for the delivery to the stars, and its good.

you can even ask them to stop off at video stores and shit on the route and they will take care of you.

i love and hate hollywood.

but i like bing able to order salt and vinegar chips, a few slices of strawberry cheesecake, and a 12 pack of heineken at 1:30 am and have it hit my door in 30 mins.

Oh no question, yours is the superior service in your area. Our liquor stores are all run and regulated by the Government of Manitoba so they have set hours...... but it's nice to have that delivery option available just the same. It's better than what a lot of places have out there..... which is squat diddly.



I can think of tons of instances where you would use a service like yours. Tons. Like you're dating and you have a new girl over for a barbecue and she says "mmm, I wish we had some such-and-such to go with all this" and you don't have any such-and-such on hand. Wanna impress her?.... a quick call when she's in the bathroom and a half hour later you serve her the such-and-such...... bingo, you're in.




Fuck, we need a company like that here.

The closest thing I've seen here happened to me last night. I ordered a huge whack of KFC, and the delivery guy that showed up at the door literally REAKED of reefer, probably just finished blazing a mega fatty in his vehicle out front of my house.



I said nothing, just smiled and of course tipped him well.
