came with my new graphics card so i went to install it, 955mb required and i STILL need to use a CD when playing??

I have that card on one of my machines. It'll get the job done for battlefield, but for games such as cod and halo you're pretty much SOL.

i think my processor is too old to play this shit anyhow, all i have is a 1.6ghz
512 ram
200gig

huh? I have a ti4200 with 64 in my game box and i play CoD just fine.

doom3 now...well, that'll be a different story....

The CD is probably just used for copy protection reasons. Check gamecopyworld.com and they will probably have a noCD patch for it. (unless they stream movies or music off it or something)

Ghost recon is the best game i played in 2003. Awesome and well worth whatever it takes to get it running on your machine.

Call of Duty and HALO - Combat Evolved. Both very good games, FAR better than Ghost Recon. I just picked up Ghost Recon today and i'm very disappointed so far...

The ti4200 cards actually tested better then the 5200's. Some people tend to get more FPS on games like Counter-Strike with the ti4200 than the 5200.

I have the same exact video card. The 5200 and the 128mb and the 256mb

I used it for Everything you can think of...

I use it the most for Battle Feild 1942 / DC mod
