Ever had a recall on your car?

ya gotta love the Japanese... my 2002 Nissan is due back for a 4th recall in 24 months LOL

the last time it was for - get this - the FLOOR MATS :1orglaugh

and this time it's for the engine control module... to quote part of the letter they sent me:

"If the engine stops running while driving, this could result in an accident without warning".

well no shit... no wonder with this kind of logical genius they can't build them right in the first place

next time i'm going back to a BMW

KMR Stitch 03-05-2004 10:14 PM

Yeah almost every car has problems..

TurboAngel 03-05-2004 10:14 PM

No way, that's some funny shit huh?

Hell yeah! I want the M3, my dream car!
But I can't complain with my Acura, I love her and the service I get in the shop is unbeatable. I love them.

Only once or twice from all of the vehicles I have owned. Usually something minor too.

Don't see the point quite yet. 80+k for a car and all the repairs and insurance (at my age at least) makes it not worth it. I could buy 3 RSX's for the same price :)

99 Ford Expedtion

my windsheild wipers would come on for no reason. Took ford 2-3 years to figure out the problem.

lil2rich4u2 03-05-2004 10:21 PM

Did you get the one when the saftey stickers came out for seatbelts? They sent a recall notice, but included the stickers so you could put them on your visors yourself. :1orglaugh

Think is was for any cars that were new within a year of when they passed the "no kids under 13 in the front seat" laws. Not postitive though...
