Consumption Junction is now accepting gallery submissions on our TGP
 

We've had a TGP on all of our free sites for some time now. We are taking it to the next level and will be launching in a day or two full blown kick ass thumb TGPs on the sites.

My intention is to have the largest TGP in the business by the end of the year. Considering how much traffic we have already I think this can be done.

In order to make our product the best we are taking submissions from this point forward.

The section for taking submissions looks like shit now but will improve drastically over the coming days. I thought I would go ahead and make the announcement however and give everyone a link:

I think that a lot of surfers go to CJ and their favorite TGP site. Now they can get it all at CJ.

Correct, we will not be trading traffic and/or skimming. You can either buy a listing or submit one.

No thanks. We want to have the best consumer product so we will be carefully selecting excellent submitted galleries. My goal isn't to make a lot of money on this, this year. I want to have the best site on the planet. It's simple as that.

I'll have Sandman look into that right away. We will have other problems as well during the launch phaze, I'm sure!

With the price of bandwith nowdays and the fact that more and more surfers are on broadband a 40k min for pics was chosen i even looked over my own personal galleries and did not find 1 with pics under 40k.

30kb is reasonable. Plenty of pics are of good quality and yet are optimized to 30kb. As long as the webmaster knows what he/she is doing I don't see where image size should be a deciding factor. Obviously you want quality, but at the same time you don't want to just give it all away either.


I'm sure most would be able to work with a 30kb limit.

I feel that the majority of people submitting under 40k pics will not have them optimized well.

It's going to be 40. I'll trust Sandman.

You can optimize anything down to like 30k .. hell even 25k if u put time into it .. prolly even less and have it very comparable to the 40k version in the surfers eyes .. it just saves the submitter money ....

Just look at the pics, if you could rub one out to them, they're golden.
