i have a strange feeling a friend in wardell ended up with it.. anthony.. many afternoons spent on that one.. i remember trying to fix the drive with rubber bands..

yep talk about tinkerers can't believe we were in there fixing that shit at that age.. and then trying to boot up bard's tale 5 times for everytime we could get it to load successfully heheh. good times.

I had one of those... it kicked ass. It had a switch on the side to switch between 64 and 128kb modes... and those crazy little 3 1/4 inch disks... :)

yeah.. i think a lot of the fun was the excitment in just getting the thing to work :-) i've been building up a collection of emulators an dgames myself.. some of those old games really are still a lot of fun ..

but yeah.. i remember going down to the local computer store and hoping there would be a new game there.. i think they stocked like 3 games.. ahh the good old green screened monster!

i had an atari 1040 stf after the c128. still have it - with 20 mb harddisk and sm124 black&white screen :eek2

shheeett.. you know what, i don't remember... it was a 1040 ST.. with seeeat colour after all those greenscreen years... turrican 2. and a few of those games that came in the 21 game pack that came with it were awesome.. that lantern one.. and bomberjack.. i think i played one of the very first 1st person perspective shoot em ups on the st.. soooo basic.... two joysticks in one machine.. just a big 3d rectangle chasing another rctangle in a maze and firing out little rectangles :)
