Your pets every destroy anything important or expensive?

My cat likes to chew on things and steal things. He destroyed my cell phone charger a couple weeks ago. I have to use my wife's now until I get another one...and I forget half the time.

When my mother-in-law visited, he kept stealing her earrings from the dresser and hiding them.

He's chewed up all kinds of things in the past, including my computer desk (it has teeth marks all over the corners). He's the only destructive cat out of the three we have. He just loves being a bitch.

My ferret loves electronics. Anything with soft rubber buttons.

My husband's cat found the baby blanket that I brought home my first two babies from the hospital in behind the clothes dryer and peed and pooped all over it several times before I tracked down the smell. I washed it and washed it but the stains never came out even with multiple types of stain removers and now it's just faded and useless. I was intending to use it for my other kids and someday lend it to my kids for THEIR kids, like an heirloom. It was very special to me. I was SO PISSED. I used to like cats. :feels-hot

I am down to one ferret and she stays in the basement. The three I used to have like to take turns tearing the house apart.

Not that I support or am against it, but they actually put cats that do damage on prozac or a ultra low dose of xanax..... no joke... Google it.

My cat only bites people, not things. :helpme

my computer!

we live on a farm, and at the time had a pet goat named Molly. She managed to get into our house while we were out one day, ate the wiring in the back of the pc, including the mouse cord. she got the wallpaper in the bathroom and the speaker wires too. she must have had a wire fetish.

:1orglaugh

Choco lab - shoes, boots, toilet paper on the roll, drywall, picnic table and about 10 6 foot high cedar trees over the course of a winter.
Looked like I had a beaver living in my backyard.

dog, border collie/labrador can jump very high .. eg, rips drying clothes from a line.. also digs gardens into WWI battlefield impressions.. the cat throws up on anything worth more than 50$ anything less simply will not do and only rips apart the expensive woven rugs..

SoundMan 03-04-2004 05:47 PM

they chewed up some of my remotes...

LadyMischief 03-04-2004 05:47 PM

Occassionally my cats will try to steal a kid's toy or two that they like, and they'll spend a day or so batting it around the kitchen, but fortunately they haven't actually destroyed anything important... One of my cats LOVES to chew plastic though like plastic bags, and it's kind of annoying sometimes (ESPECIALLY the sound of it in the middle of the night), but it's really nothing too big. Sorry to hear Rictor.. You need to get some of that scent deterrant stuff :)

Why did you put your cat above your child?

have you ever heard of Toxoplasmosis?

Gabriel 03-04-2004 05:49 PM

Fuckin' dogs chewed up most of the wood trim around the windows.

- pair of muddy work boots
- patio furniture
- some old school chuck taylors

its all stuff that can be replaced.

Mr. Marks 03-04-2004 05:50 PM
