Ever witness a murder?
 

I did when I was about 5 years old.

Grand Prarie, Texas.

We were over at my uncle's house and me and his youngest daughter, my cousin were playing.
Anyway all of the older kids including my sister and brother came running into the house saying there was a fight down the street.

The entire family darted out of the house to see what was going on.
There were a group of guys and they were shoving this older black man around.

The black man's wife was screaming. My uncle and my father tried to help and stop the fight...us kids stayed on the sidewalk just across the street...I don't recall who it was my aunt or my mother but someone was calling the police.

One of the key things I remember hearing was one of the younger guys yelling..."Go get a knife."

A guy darted into the people's house and the lady is just shrieking up a storm. The guy comes running out of the house and gives the knife to the otehr guy.

Next thing you know the guy just stabs the black man, stabbed him a couple of times.

My dad starts throwing up, the black man drops on driveway and there is blood just coming out all over.

All the young guys jump into their car and take off as the cops are just pullin gup...they chased them down and catch them..but the black man died before the ambulance got there.

I had nightmares about that shit for months after that...pretty bizarre night.

I was about 10...

I was in the car with my mom and she got hit from the side and as I looked over to see who hit us, the driver got shot in the back of the head and his blood splattered all over the windsheild and two guys in the back took off running, they got caught and the cops told us they all were doing drugs and were drugs in the car...

some crazy shit..you never forget that..

I saw my dad *almost* kill his girlfriend through suffication. Luckily another guy was able to bust through the car window and pull him off of her. She was blue and puking up nasty stuff.

I think I was 8 or 9 at the time.

I saw a mexican guy get stabed at a gas station.. duno what it was about but I was getting gas and they were across the street at a aptment yelling at each other. I was too far away to see him get stabbed but he ended up walking across to the gas station asking for help, I don't think he died but then again you never know.

I saw 3000 Americans Murdered on live TV September 11,2001

Never seen an actual murder but been witness to a couple of attempted murders. When the emotions and adrenaline(sp) start rising theres bound to be someone getting crazy.

I saw a guy shotgunned in broad daylight when I lived in Venice CA. Used to hear gunfire regularly and lived on a very gang oriented street devoted to retail crack but when I saw the murder it actually had nothing to do with drugs or gangs.

It was a love triangle with the estranged husband killing the boyfriend of his ex.

I ended up being the key witness at the trial since I saw the guy shooting and the getaway vehicle. Crazy to see the whole forensic testimony describing how the shots went in and lifted him up then what happened when he was on the ground and still being shot. Me and a neighbor kid actually watched the guy expire his last breath. Fucks me up to this day when i think about it.

When I was 14 I had a great babby-sitting job, the tupperware lady. I got to watch the kids about 3 times a week.

The next door neighbor had broke up with her b/f and got a new one. Well one night I was babby-siiting and heard yelling so I looked out and the old b/f was stabbing the lady. I called the cops but by the time they got there it she was dead.


That was the last time I got to babby-sit for her.

I used to live in Venice..my apartment looked right over Muscle Beach...there was a patio on the roof where we woudl have parties bbq's etc, and me and my buddies used to sit on the roof friday nights drink some corona smoke a spliff and watch the ghetto birds swoop down over ghost town :)
