Domain resale market has more than doubled in recent months. Can you believe in this?
According to VeriSign, the resale market for domain names has more than doubled in recent months from previous years. A typical resale price for a domain is ringing in at around $24,000, whereas a collection of popular domains recently sold for as much as $100,000 each.
Full story. Personally I thought the domain name resale market will never rise too much after that well known don com crisis. |
Insane I tells ya.. Insane.

quite amazing, i see so many domains being sold for rediculous prices, but someone must be buying them
|
it's about time.

I haven't seen much of a jump in the public eye, but maybe the public is starting to realize that the internet isn't going away, and that there are only so many .com's available that'd be decent brands.

Mr.com did not sell. Nor did smoking.com
Check out www.greatdomains.com - Neither have been noted as sold. Additionally - If mr.com did in fact sell for $350k - Why in the fuck can I not get a measly $150k for er.com  er > mr medical industry > no industry |
Its a crazy world we live in! Domains will be a smart investment for the years to come
