JavaScr*pt to read file from external server...
I'm running an ad campaign with a couple different people right now, but the problem is I want to test out a couple different ads to see what works the best. If all of the sites were on the same server, I obviously could do a simple PHP include. But, since these servers belong to different companies, etc, the simple PHP include that I know wouldn't be able to work.
So basically I want to have a file on my server. This file will be basic text and I'll be able to change the ad/links whenever I please. I want to give a simple JavaScr*pt code to the people I'm advertising with so that they can paste it onto their page and be done with it. The code then calls the file on my server, prints it out, and bam we're done. Anybody have code that does this or know of another easier way to go about doing this? |

Forgot to make a note... You may put "yourscript.js" wherever you want (say www.yourdomain.com/yourscript.js). Just don't forget to change its URL in client.html. That's it. Hit me on ICQ (166924423) if you need any further comments :winkwink:

sly, just install phpadsnew on your server
and give the remote invocation code to the final users |
