Since some time I started hanging with rich buddy cause I had a feeling I was buying my friends.
That is not a nice feeling.

:thumbsup Yea, borrowing money sucks. It seems that the better you know the person you give the money to, the harder it is to get it back.

DreamCumTrue 03-04-2004 02:13 PM

I don't lend money, or ask for it. Just works out better that way. If my family needed it, I would give it to them, no problem, but loans are a bitch. Ruins bonds between family members sometimes.

turbomax 03-04-2004 02:15 PM

they all me $

MissEve 03-04-2004 02:16 PM

uggg, I have at least 20k out that friends have borrowed.

The thing that kills me the most if that they seem to think that because I have a nice lifestyle that I dont need to be paid back!

Friendship is definitely more important than money BUT one girl borrowed 3k to pay off a credit card before she got married because her husband is an asshole and she didnt want him to know about her debt. So, she is a teacher in Arkansas and probably makes about two bucks a year. She had a baby about a year ago so I was going to let te loan go but then she told me how she got her tiny dog its own carrying case/bag. Grrrrrrrrr! I started to pester her and she borrowed 500 from her mom to give to me but thats it.

I have definitely learned my lesson! For anyone reading this....DO NOT LOAN MONEY!

Its very difficult especially when you are young and doing well and your friends are broke as a joke but its not your problem!
Pay for dinner or drinks or whatever if you want to but no loans :)

natkejs 03-04-2004 02:21 PM

noone in my family owns me money ...

I have a few K out in debts to my friends tho, don't expect to see that again.

people in general are cheap fucking losers that will take whatever they can and run, IF you let them.
when it comes to friends I don't really have the motivation to bitch, bitch, bitch and bitch even more to get it back.

it says a lot about someone when they never pay up unless you make them... that stuff is good to know, might even be worth the $$$.

tadus 03-04-2004 02:37 PM

nobody

GiantGnome 03-04-2004 02:39 PM

no one in my family ever LOANS money to a family member. We GIVE eachother money when one of us needs it. Its called helping, and thats what family is all about.

Jedimaster 03-04-2004 02:41 PM

my "friend" still owes me $1200 from 3 years ago

tadus 03-04-2004 02:42 PM

Why whould you all want to know it ? Thinking they will come here ? :helpme

MrIzzz 03-04-2004 02:44 PM

yup. i gotta a fucking dude owes me $300 from 2 years ago. its a shame that he made it into a big thing because i was gonna forgive him for it a little while ago. fuck him, now we're no longer friends

valley hina 03-04-2004 02:45 PM

my brother owes me 10 bucks

dunefield 03-04-2004 02:45 PM

quite a few... but i'm not going to ask for the money back... they should have the morals of paying me back without me asking...

nathan_f 03-04-2004 02:46 PM

Ic3m4nZ 03-04-2004 02:47 PM

Only some but it's not a lot so I couldn't care less..

Diabolical Cord 03-04-2004 02:50 PM

A buddy of mine owes me $100.

I found out that he also owes another friend $5,000 that he has no interest in paying back.

I have a feeling he's not paying me back.

Mr Exotic 03-04-2004 03:08 PM

I have loaned small amounts to friends, but I really never done it a lot. I usually just made up some kind of lame excuse about how I didnt have it. But when it comes to family I dont do loans, I give money, if they can pay me back and want to, they can, if they cant or just dont want to, I dont care.

I sure know I have had some really rough times and god bless my grandma, she has bailed my ass out a few times. I dont even ask her for it, if she knows I need money she gives it to me, I have to keep some things secret from her so she wont give me money, because I cant stand taking her money, makes me feel like shit, and its like pulling teeth to get her to take any money when you try to pay her back.

To me if you aint got family, you aint got shit. So when I am doing good, its no skin off my back to help family out, and its also nice to know that if it comes down to it they are gonna be there for me too.
