Selling a domain to a russian ? No paypal?
 

This guy wants to buy one of my domains ( only for 100$ ) but he doesnt have paypal as he is russian but has credit cards anda ll that. He suggested a third party company to handle the trade but as it is only a 100$ wound that be kinda worthless ?

anyone ever handled something like this before ?

escrow, WU or wire. If he don't want any of those options, fuck off, unless you're looking to be not paid. No because he's russian, but because he's looking to pay with the only way he can charges back

Whether he's legit or not, using escrow.com should protect you. Tell him he pays their fee. It's up to escrow.com what kind of payment they'd accept, and they may not take his credit cards, but then that's his problem. If he can send them a check and it clears, or whatever other method he wants, once escrow.com says the payment has been secured, then you release the name. They're a trustworthy company. It might be few weeks before you'd get your money, but you won't get screwed.

Do *not* go with a third-party service he suggests, fake escrow companies are a dime a dozen.
