Star Trek Enterprise was Amazing Today!

Great Story! Lots of action. CGI has come a long way since Next Gen.

I just caught the battle at the end. Saw people flying out of a blast hole into space. Gotta see the rerun on Sunday.

Giorgio_Xo 03-03-2004 10:05 PM

Agreed. :thumbsup Enterprise is under rated.

Maximillion 03-03-2004 10:38 PM

Next Generation is where its at. Anything else doesn't compare.

Anyone see Patrick Stuart on Conan Obrien the other nite? Man that shit cracked me up.

"Seeeeeecrets"

TheEnforcer 03-03-2004 11:18 PM

Damn great episode!!

And Max....... Deep Space Nine blows TNG away!!

hottoddy 03-03-2004 11:21 PM

TNG is still my fav by far. Enterprise has really picked it up this season with the Xindi story arc. The first 2 years were iffy.

bluff 03-03-2004 11:25 PM

It's amazing!

Yep big time
Love that show

fuelcell 03-04-2004 12:06 AM

Not bad but the effects and just the general look of the show is cheesy. The fucking 400 years from now costume is a joke. The alien Xindi are a joke. They could take a lesson or two from Farscape ;)

twistyneck 03-04-2004 12:07 AM

I used to like that show but I lost interest in it. I thought it had been cancelled. Maybe I'll give it another try.

strats 03-04-2004 12:08 AM

Head is a plageurizing fool who cant get it up, depends on viagra and loses in real life.

hottoddy 03-04-2004 12:09 AM

The Farscape Muppets? No way!

You've got to be fucking kidding right?

Deep Space Nine is a soap opera set on a SPACE STATION. Hence, they do not travel anywhere so the show is about boring issues between the cast.

Fuck I'm startin to sound like a trekkie nerd

Ironhorse 03-04-2004 12:40 AM

It takes alot more than CGI to make a great show. :2 cents:

I suggest you watch a bit more
Best battles were on DS9, the dominion wars kicked ass.

Oh and tonight's episode was the shit, best one this year
Dunno how it's gonna turn out, doesn't look too good

VeriSexy 03-04-2004 02:32 AM

Don't think I ever watched a episode of Star Treck. Hope I am not missing out :helpme

Mr. Marks 03-04-2004 02:37 AM

BluMedia 03-04-2004 02:39 AM

It grows on you. When i was younger i thought startrek was gay. Then i watched another one and it wasn't that bad.

It's quite clever and entertaining. You have to remember also that the series mature so you might not be so lucky and stumble upon an episode from the first season of The next Generation :helpme and later a more advanced episode, which are usually much better

flashfire 03-04-2004 03:35 AM

looks like I might be alone but I actually liked Voyager quite a bit...year of hell episode and later episodes with 7 ect. man what a bunch of nerds we are!

ibuydomains 03-04-2004 04:39 AM

Enterprise is allright... at least its better than Voyager :1orglaugh

guess I am the only one who liked it:(

hova 03-04-2004 06:34 AM

Star trek is gay! Ill rather watch Sex and the City or Gilmore Girls

korzon 03-04-2004 07:16 AM

DS9 > TNG > Voyager > Enterprise.

Maybe that'll change once enterprise matures a bit.

zentz 03-04-2004 07:18 AM

fuck enterprise

sheepish 03-04-2004 07:24 AM

Star trek is full of hippies "Humans are wonderful and kind and cuddly" - bollocks. I think even Darwin would choke on the theory that we'd evolve that much! Now...Babylon 5 at least puts it forward that there can be nasty Humans...and even nasty politicians *spit* ;)

Sheepo

p.s. I live Voyager - 7 of 9 *drool*

No way! DS9 was ridiculous, that whole show ended up being everyone was fucking everyone and there was no cool sci-fi plots anywhere. TNG is still my favorite, and I have seen at least 95% of every series.

Oh please.. TNG is so sterile compared to TNG it's not even funny. It's good but Deep Space Nine is the most compelling there is. Garak is Trek's all time greatest character. Sisko has to actually act like a real person and confront real type problems unlike Picard and his sterile bunch of happy go lucky this weeks episode rarely ever has any repurcussions epsidoes.

watch episodes like...

Duet

Improbable Cause

The Die Is Cast

The Visitor

Hard Time

In Purgatory's Shadow

Star Trek's BEST episode ever In The Pale Moonlight

And you'll see. Now, TNG has some great episode's as well such as The Inner Light , Darmok , and Best of Both World's DS9 is a much better show overall.

You know.. I just thought of something.. maybe one of the places that do reward points would substitute the sets for one of the things they have in their shop that is of equal value....

the only time i've ever seen or discussed sex and the city it's always with a bunch of fags....so before you go calling star trek gay to espouse the virtues of sex and the city or gilmore girls...think to yourself....you really do like those skin tight space suits on captain archer don't you...we can tell.

So true. I've enjoyed all the Trek series but that first season of TNG was pretty bad. Luckily there was virtually no sci-fi on at the time and it stayed on and did quite well.

:thumbsup

Phoenix 03-04-2004 12:59 PM

Enterprise is looking great right now.

They have the time war going on, and then after that the klingon war to get into, that show is just ramping up.:thumbsup

bluelevelnick 03-04-2004 01:11 PM

well I think all these different series got their own charm.

but I recognize some....evolution.

In todays Enterprise we got more real people.

I think that the whole start trek universe has developed.

some people say that the big thing on star trek was the 'nice clean future' it promised and what the trekkies made.

but now it is not so clean anymore. there are drugs&whores and the explanation (as trekkies ever have for every strange thing that happens there) - it plays closer to our time than any other series of the star trek family.

silly stuff.
I like silly stuff.
