How big of a factor does booze play in porn shoots? What percentage of the time are the models buzzed or drunk?

Not even once on my shoots. Although I've shot for another company in their studio and they encouraged drinking cause they say girls loosen up... but it only makes them tired and incoherent faster. What they're really hoping for is to get the girls drunk so they can take advantage of them.... that's why I don't shoot for them anymore. I hate to be associated w/ assholes like that.

That's all I need... a girl saying I got her drunk and then shot porn with her and made her sign a release.

I would say no. It's just like the work place, i don't think i want my emplyees drunk.

Most of the time even if I offer the girls a beer or a wine cooler they usually turn it down. If they do take one they only take a couple of sips. I would hate to work with drunk girls. If they get pissed who knows what they'll do. I might have a beer or 2 myself though. It's great to be your own boss!!

Never mess with the girls during a shoot, mess with them at a party after the shoot!!

I wouldn't ever use alcohol to loosen up... but for some sties, the theme of the site (ie www.springbreakfuckadventures.com) requires some "props". I figure if they sign it sober, and you record them doing it, what's the problem with letting them drink if they are legal age?

do you make them blow into a breathalizer ? how do you know they werent drunk when they came for the shoot ? they could still say they were drunk.

I asked Joel Helgenbelgenboogenburger (sp?) about this at Webmaster Access, and he said that if the model is drunk or stoned, send her home.

It is just idiotic, stupid, foolish, and asking for a hell of alot of trouble.

Even if the model signs a release before drinking do you really think most people have listed in writing everything that will be done. Most peoples release will not say "stripping, blowjob, vaginal sex, anal sex, facial with a follow up oral removal of semen from the dick" on it.

So when the model signs the release and then has a drink or two then proceeds to do the shoot. How would you even think of being able to contest that they agreed to everything you shot. It is real easy to say "I was only supposed to get naked and play with toys, but they took advantage of me when I was drunk".

Then you must relize that in many states a person who has been drinking can not give sexual consent. It defaults to "date rape" in many areas. With sex there is an ongoing consent required, if at any time someone says stop ect. consent ends right there and anything more is rape. Alcohol would or could prevent someone from saying stop where they would have if they were sober.

If that law had been in effect in California in 1962, I might never have been conceived.

Legally it's called diminished capacity and it makes your model release null and void, if you serve it to her it can open you up to criminal and civil charges. Never shoot a girl who is fucked up in any way and have it in your release that she is not in any way diminished in capacity to excersize good judgement. It doesn't mean much if she is but it gives you an extra leg to stand on.

Theres enough girls willing to do this without having to get fucked up....why fuck around and ask for trouble....Like I tell them when I interview them.
If you have to be fucked up to do this you have no business in this business.
