Lookout NFC East

The Philadelphia Eagles signed Jevon Kearse today and it looks like we might get Terrel Owens.

Maybe this will be the year!

I thought Owens's agent blew the deadline to void the final years of his 49ers contract?

Kearse? Eagles dont need another D-lineman that cant stay healthy.

Owens is bad news no matter how good he is.

I'd like to see who the Pats get in the draft. They may not sign Law, Brown or Smith so they'll be shopping.

Yeah. He's going to fight it - he's screwed at the moment.

looks like they are going to trade a draft pick for Owens.

Steve 03-03-2004 07:11 PM

Eagles get Owens, that would be a big help. The WRs they have now suck pretty bad. Give McNabb a real WR and I bet they do some damage in the playoffs.

Owens would be much more impact than Kearse - who I honestly think will suck in NFC East.

go cowboys

Bansheelinks 03-03-2004 07:45 PM

Still no one strong in the middle of the D..............2 soft against the run means no chance for a SB win

Jimmie 03-03-2004 08:08 PM

Kearse for 66Million, when hes had 11 sacks in the last 2 years?

If you can guarantee to me that Kearse will stay healthy and be the player he was in years 1,2 & 3 i'll take him any day of the week. Last 2 years he cant seem to stay on the field, so have fun with that 66Million when hes on the IR.

The Ravens remain the leading candidate to land Owens and Baltimore is in the midst of trade talks with both San Francisco and Owens' agent, David Joseph. Before pulling the trigger on a deal, which could happen by Friday at the earliest, Ravens officials would first like to visit with Owens and get something of a comfort zone with the outspoken star.

don't believe everything you read or hear reported, until you hear it from the player or organization. good example would be a-rod to the yankees
