I'm driving down to Miami for spring break next week with 4 buddies of mine. We're staying in a 4 star hotel for free, which is sure to be pimp!

Anybody live there, know anything about the area? Any comments, suggestions what to do and see? (Besides the obvious getting fucked up and partying til the break of dawn).

Just curious since none of us have ever been.

I live down here - more towards lauderdale, if your staying in Miami man I don't think you'll have a tough time finding anything to do :thumbsup

have went to Sunny Isles, near South Beach, full of old rich man/women
boring place but perfect to relax
for spring break i think you must headup for Daytona or Panama Beach :P

OT: Have no clue why Hung is so popular... Boggles the mind.

Fort Lauderdale is kicking rite now

well the Winter Music Conference is going on from march 5th-march 10 and there are around 300+ parties going on at that time...so the clubs will be pretty bumpin through Wed nite....just a tip for ya - the White Party is the following weekend so there will be a lot of dudes around :1orglaugh

i have done it all down there (spring breaks and tons of New Years Eve's)... it is a magical place and you will have a ball.. if you want a top notch dinner you and your boys should go to Joe's Stone Crabs... it is world famous

what days are you there?

stop in orlando and cocoa beach over the weekend, get to miami monday-friday, leave on saturday.

All kid of shit goin on you got nickis beach and pearl opium gardens/prive mint sky bar inside of the shore club and a whole bunch of new stuff just ask the locals cause where they go and where the tourist go are different alot of the hotels have bars in them that are good too also space and for adult entertainment take the ride up to north miami solid gold and scarletts tootsies Ft lauderdale is only 45 mins theres some good clubs there too

If you want to give me a call when you get into town, I can tell you where to go......but with the Winter Music conference in town....it's pretty much going full force right now.

For great dinners in a happening scene, try:

Touch (on Lincoln road)
Bed (on washington....but bring girls)
Tantra (especially on a Monday night)
The Blue Door (at the Delano Hotel)
Nobu or Ago, (at the Shore Club)
Joe's stone crab is about a 2 hour wait, and they don't take reservations.

For the upscale clubs, the easiest way to get in is if you bring more girls than guys, and you get a table, with bottle service.

Sunny Isles is about 20 minutes from south beach and a whole WORLD apart in terms of things going on..... Daytona, Orlando, etc....SUCK compared to south beach and downtown Fort lauderdale.

Actually, there is a new place that just opened up...across the streat from the Hollywood Diplomat hotel. (north of sunny Isles....about 30 minutes from south beach)...called Nikki's Landing. Owned by the same people that own Nikki's beach (Penrod), and its a really good place for Sunday afternoons...

One long day of rolling teenyboppers but SO MUCH great music.

i'd suggest hitting the pool party at the Shelbourne on Monday - Tommy Lee is doing a drum set and a bunch of good DJs are spinning. A guy I know here in LA is putting that on...

Nikki Beach club will be cool as well any day...
