Gumball update
 

Welcome back Gumballers,

The past 2 weeks have been an insane time here in the Gumball World!

Last week we had both the US and Hong Kong Premiere's of Gumball 3000 'The Movie'.

The US Premiere was a truly star studded night at the Manns Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Blvd. Jackass' along with 'Fast & Furious' star Michelle Rodriguez, and numerous pop stars including Good Charlotte all attended with Gumballers arriving in some of the most amazing cars on the planet. The thousands of fans gathered watched in awe as Enzo's, Lamborghini's, Rolls Royce's, Porsche's, a tank, and even a car with a 10 foot chicken on the roof dropped off at the end of the red carpet!

And if that wasn't enough, we did the whole thing again 5 days later in Hong Kong in the amazing IFC building, Hong Kong's tallest building. MTV's Asian Jackass counterparts were in attendance getting ideas on how they are going to cause trouble on this years rally, and after appearing in China's national newspaper and on television, it would appear that China is now going Gumball crazy.

The Movie is being well received here in the UK, with an astonishing 55,000 sales in the first 2 weeks of its release. If you haven't already got a copy, what are you waiting for!!! Its available at all good stores and of course online via the Gumball website.

A friend of mine is driving in it, but he wont let me go with him because he have wrecked hit Lambo once. :(

raceman and archik are doing this years as we said in an early thread.

We will be posting vids and pics back to the boards during the 6 days.

I so much want to do the gumball race........but I think my BMW 325i -90 will NOT do the trick.....it would probably die after a few miles in the tempo id be riding in :)

Well Nicky I have done them all bar 2001 and I have seen some pretty ordinary cars involved. Its the "spirit" of entering rather than what car your using. Some dudes on the first one in 1999 did it in an old ambulance, which I might add broke down all the time.


This year we will be doing it in a Porsche 996 Cab

The Gumball site needs fixing. I have a Flash 7 plugi nand is asking me to download one again and not giving access. You MUST always provide a link straight to thge Flash site and bypassing the FlashCheck. Take my advise on this :2 cents:

Hey Naughty I know what you mean, my company built the origianl site in 2000 and I thought we did I really good job, I have no idea who fucking designed that peice of "shite" I closed that particular company down a few years ago so i did not have the resources to continue helping Gumball.

I only went on that new site a few weeks ago and thought "sheeesh" wtf is this crap, real shame when you think of how big the "Gumball" has become since 1999, Oh well not my shout.
