Murder - In this day and age...
can you really EVER get away with it?
Yeah of course there are some cold cases out there...but damn you watch court t.v. or discovery channel and all those shows like The System and Cold Case Files and it seems like now days your chances of "success" are slim to none. |
Depends on the situation.
|
It is so ridiculously simple to get away with murder.
Getting caught really shows a lack of brain power, planning, and/or discipline. |

You might luck out and they miss something but I'd say chances now they won't. I watched one show recently where they could even find blood underneat a newly painted basement floor. |
Kill randomly, without motive or purpose.
It helps, first, to do that "I squish your head" thing with your thumb and index finger to objectify the target. |
fantasy shows say you alwasy get caught - reality is most go free - most never even get found out.
my grandfather was murdered, they even know who did it. cops didn't do anything. - too lazy |
Getting caught shows that you do not watch CourtTV, The System, FBI Files, etc...
damn they show you wahat they look for ;) |

why ? cause you asking this question. otherwise almost everything is possible |
No body + no murder weapon + no witnesses = no case, especially if your case is difficult and / or low priority.

depends what country you live in.
think anyone in Afghanistan gives a fuck if you off a few people? :1orglaugh I assume you are talking about the US though I have to agree with Rorschach, unless there is a body and or witnesses - you got a failry good chance to get away with it |

LOL I'm sure there are a few countries you could get away with it in...but even in America there is always the "silent witness." It's almost as if people scream from the grave...look at how some guy just wanders through the desert and comes across a body...or some kid goes running through some woods nearby his house and sees a shoe which leads to a body. Yeah sure there are a number of homIcides out there that go unsolved, but I still think your chances of getting away with it are highly unlikely. In most cases the victim knows the perp..I think it was in '94 when the FBI released #'s that for the very first time ever in the history of crime stats *US* your chances of being killed by someone you did not know were greater. Don't know what those stats are now...take a look at that guy here in America who just offed his Cousin, his cousin's wife and 4 year old kid...it didn't take that long to find the killer...there is a reason they always look close to home first. |
