As a non-native English speaker I'm a bit confused about meanings of the following words: anime, toon, cartoon, hentai...

Could someone explain the meaning of these words? or tell me a place I can learn more about them?

toons and cartoons are the same (american)

anime is asian cartoons

hentai is anime porn

anime

cartoon
These are full of cigarettes.

hentai
Little trees Japanese people play with.

I think they are the same.
