first self-cleaning automatic public toilet
http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/dayart..._recording.jpg
Seattle's posh public potties are open for business. After a decade of discussion, five self-cleaning, space-age style chambers were finally opened to the public yesterday. There were no long lines, but those who did give it a whirl emerged from the futuristic facilities looking amazed, and sometimes a little nervous. The doors open and close like those on an elevator. You step in. They softly seal shut behind you. "Welcome to Seattle's public toilet," says the kind of voice you might hear as you board a space ride at Disneyland. story |
the poor janitors.

Fear the robot toilets! :eyecrazy

We've had those in NZ for a few years now. They clean on a timer, so when I was a lad it always used to be considered the height of hilarity to lure someone in just as it was about to wash itself... then the door slams and the person gets soaked.

At least all the bums downtown will have a clean place to take a dump... Wonder how long it will be till they are tagged to shit.
Might be fun place to shag real quick. The doors open in 30 minutes automatically... |
That's nice to hear.
|
where can i get one of those?
|
HAHAHA. That's awesome.
|
Japan has had stuff like that for a good 10 + years now.
Why did the article say some fuck felt nervous? |
They have had these in London, England for at least 5 years.
|
NICE!
|
what happens if after 15 minutes you're still sitting on the can, the doors open automatically and expose you?
Nice! This opens up a whole new content niche |

i could have sworn i saw those on the news like 10 years ago.
|
There was at least one of those when i was still in Ireland. I left in '94, so it's not exactly a new idea.
Cost about 50 pence to use at the time, if my memory serves me correctly, and they paid for themselves. Hell, i think they even made a profit. |
We have those for many years already...

Good idea...no more dirty toilet seats!:winkwink:
