ARS...Sack Up And Atleast Take SOME Responsibility For All This...
 

Before I start, let it be known that:

1) I love ARS. They are a great company, always have been, their recent changes to stay afloat are an example of how they always will be a great company

2) For a whopping 18 hours of my life, yes...I was a sig whore..but have stopped and have even taken off ARS banner.



Now, with that being said....You guys are being really irresponsible about this (atleast from what I've seen.) You came out with truley a GREAT idea...but, you encouraged it to board posters ...AND DO NOT DENY THAT...MarcDe, the man himself suggested it to me in GGandJim chat room to everyone and to myself in a PM when I asked. Now, if you guys couldnt see this coming from a mile away, then maybe I've been all wrong standing up for you guys when people say that you guys should have seen your financial UPTURN COMING FROM A MILE AWAY. Please take a quick 20 second timeout away from playing mom and papa to webmasters, lecturing of how we abused the system, and take a look at yourselves and how you FUCKED UP in your planning...its that simple.

Honestly, the CPM program should be insituted in its old form to webmaster resource sites...that means 5cpm on the banner, 3 on the button 10 on the console.... For regular webmasters, institute something that pays based on HOW MANY WEBMASTERS YOU SEND TO ARS...NOT HOW MANY TIMES PEOPLE SEE AN ARS LOGO.

This is nothing more than brutal honesty and relaying what a lot of people deep down are thinking.....but not saying, because we all know that MOST of us, were never pulling 5 bucks CPM on our sigs and we want an opportunity to do that, or 3CPM or whatever the its at now.


So to conclude...(i appologize to all the great women at ARS for the following comment...) ARS, GROW SOME BALLS...BE A MAN...OWN UP TO YOUR MISTAKE IN PLANNING...COME OUT WITH AN ECOMICALLY MORE REALISITC PLAN FOR AVERAGE WEBMASTERS...

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY...


CAN WE PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE MOVE ON FROM THIS!?!?!?!?!


That's just my two cents...MarcDe, Amber, Dave M......Nothing personal...i will continue to promote ARS and suggest it, I'm just really shocked by how you guys have shown a 100% lack of responsibility on this one. Take care guys, see ya on the other side of the "ARS Restructuring Tunnel."

Of course they're lying, they knew exactly what they were doing and what would happen all along. I'm sure they planned on having their shit spammed all over this fucking place and then would play innocent and lower the payouts just a couple of days later so they can coast on free publicity and cheap spamming here instead of ponying up for a skin of the board that didn't do shit for them.

Yes, i agree with this sediment. I think they just wanted their name out there big time for the NEW AND IMPROVED ARS...

so that the company would still actually have some webmasters around for the tough switch....I just want some people to actually call them out on this cuz *WE* being the webmasters are the ones they are making the whipping boy when the truth is that they knew what was coming all along

fvurakki, if you're right.. its a very unprofessional move, especially coming from a more corporate based sponsor like ARS.

my gripe with them is how old GIM/BYOT's will be ended on the 8th with virtually none of my solid niche's covered. i personally don't like the new reality sites much either, they seem more of the "cookie cutter" style with a reality twist that has fresh content, which is good, but doesnt help me, i'll have to wait to see some of the CHAMP sites i guess.

aflex, i understand that gripe...and a lot of people have it. I personally kinda like the new program. I think it presents more options. I just dont like ARS's attitude towards this whole thing. However, they did help that department out a lot by honoring people's reward points...smart move ARS
