A new way to make money?

This is not SPAM, I dont even know if this works. I signed up and it looks like it could do fine on TGPs, MGPs, and maybe other kinds of traffic, even mainstream.
I am getting my links up, and this looks so promising that I also have it in my sig (no whoring this month).
If you already use it share the results, if you never tried it... see sig.

Looks like they are worth giving a try... IN fact, im going to..

twistyneck 03-02-2004 06:39 PM

Post a link, I have sigs turned off.

zzgundamnzz 03-02-2004 06:40 PM

Yeah, I've seen them on alot of the major thumb TGPs. They seem to be doing good :)

Seems like a pipedream if you ask me. Just looks like a wrapper around a different protocol (other than HTTP). If I wanted to sell something with the angle of offering a higher speed service, I would sell those internet accelerators.

Sorry, doesn't look like it will sell to me. I'm sure its possible, but I don't see an advantage to offer consumers.

Well, there's no harm in trying...

Thanks, looks interesting. Might be some promise there but I think the idea needs some refinement. Not a bad idea though.

Oooops, sorry, that was the webmaster referals stats lol.

porncargo 03-02-2004 07:37 PM

let me know if i understand this right.
taken from their terms page:
"7. We will charge webmaster a penalty for every chargeback if it happened because of wembaster's fault or mistake, amount of penalty will be equal to amount charged back.
"
so, if a costumer pays (i don't know the price, i'm just guessing) $30 a for a month then asks for a chargeback, i originaly get 45% of the sale and then get charget back with the full 100% of the amount he paid for the membership, so that theyget to keep the money for that membership and you have to pay from your own pocket because they didn't offer the service the costumer expected.

that just sucks IMO

"if it happened because of wembaster's fault or mistake"

As long as they respect that and dont abuse it, I see nothing wrong.

wyldblyss 03-02-2004 07:49 PM

Yeah, but they would consider everything a webmaster mistake. After all the alternative would be the customer did not like the product and they probably don't like to admit that.

Ash@phpFX 03-02-2004 07:50 PM

ill have to look in to this furtheu and do some tests, thanks for the link

I think they are just trying to protect themselves from webmasters that promise a product they cant deliver. If they do exactly as they wrote it, it's fine. Why do you say they will lie, if you have no experience with the company? Give them some credit.
