Pfft.. I have a home office, with employees, and with a lap top in front of my tv as well as a normal office with employees and partners. Best of all worlds I guess.
2 employees at my house, 6 employees at the office. |

JayJay, why don't you tell us who you think belongs to the 5% and who doesn't :Graucho

Had an office for my first 5 years in the porn biz.
I got tired of going in everyday so I got rid of the office a few years ago. Implying that you have to have an office to be successful or important makes you look like a noob. Sorry. The thing about being successful is that YOU makes the choices. I choose not to drive to work. :thumbsup |

Why do people wrap their gifts? Why do people ask dumb questions?

Hmm... that's a good question.
I'll have my secretary look into it, and I'll get back to you tomorrow when I get to the office. |

I HAD my own room until the kids got big enough they needed their own rooms. Now I'm setup in the bedroom. :(
Hoping to add on a couple of rooms this year. |

My GF is 3 months pregnant and this room is being turned in to a baby nursery So Looks like I'll be in the "5% Have a Notebook on their lap in the front room" :1orglaugh |

I feel your pain |
I don't see a reason why most internet companies even need a office. The most you need is a programmer, graphic designer and marketing. Those can be hired when needed to. I know people making millions with just 2 employees.
Having a office and a bunch of employees (more then 6) is a waste of money. Why does a internet company need more than 6 regular employees? I'm the "5% Have a Notebook on their lap in the front room". I find companies/freelancers to do the rest for anything I can't do (such as graphicdesigners). |
I need a pool so I can be in the 1% with a laptop by the pool

Pics from before the reno.... 2500sqft of loft space facing south, kinda cool I like it plus its 2 blocks from my house so even hungover its a quick walk into work. Plus its Suite 404....lol...it was like an omen

because I have an office and a staff......

Why do you need so much space? I bet I could get just as much work done as you from my toilet :winkwink: |

I have both a full time home office that is fully tricked out with all the gear you would ever need to run a biz. I work here 4 days a week ( inculding weekends )
I have an office space in a data center in Center City philly for my day gig as a IT consultant for a major IP carrier that I work out of 3 days a week. My partner also works on a variety of projects for our little things, as well a few others since outsourcing IT services can make a lot of cash on the side that most folks neglect to see. Its all about networking and being able to meet the clients needs any way you can. Be a total source and make all the revenue as you build the relationship. Adult is fun, but, I can manage a ton of projects in many verticals from the same internet connection in 1 day and with a good team. |
