Calendar "reminder" program?

I'm looking for a good calendar-type reminder program, that will set off an alarm on your PC at a set interval.

Like say you want to be reminded of something Thursday the 18th at 3pm. You can set the program so that some hours ahead of time, it will inform you that your alarm is approaching soon. Then at the actual time of the alarm, you're reminded again.

I used to use 3M Post-It Software notes for this... and it worked good. But I would rather something that uses some type of calendar-style control panel, and that will run nice and silently in the system tray.

Any suggestions?

I ended up finding WinDates on download.com: http://download.com.com/3000-2124-10234078.html

Downloaded it and set it up, seems pretty cool so far... but has a bit of an ugly interface.

There's some really good software available from Microsoft. It's called Outlook.

Outlook 2003 rocks.

You know, I stopped using Outlook some years back because at the time it was just way too bloated. Might have to give it a shot again.. I have Office Pro 2003 on CD somewhere around here.
