Galleries @ StealThisGallery.Com Your Opinion Matters

Currently when I build these I build them to reach a broader based audience in the hopes that more webmasters will list them for the sponsor owner.

They are not heavy graphically, or overly aggressive in marketing. However you can change the text, remove the text add graphics etc.

They are not generic galleries because sponsors are paying for these in order to help promote their products.

Tell me what you think about them, be honest.

Do you like them?

Will you use them?

What would you like to see?

Do you want them to be more aggressive?

More graphics?

So far the program is a success I'm getting positive feedback from the sponsors as well as webmasters, but I'm always open constructive criticism.

So make your suggestions here.

remember they are "JUST GALLERIES."

dont act like its rocket science, no one thinks it is.

More and more people are driving the value of templates down to where most simply do not want to pay anything over 10 bucks. Personally, I feel there is more money to be made with templates than just selling them by the dozen, or giving them away this way, but thats just me.

I have seen it dwindle down from 35 and 50 each template to next to nothing, no clue why but like everything, the market isnt dying but it is surely oversaturated with GALLERY DESIGNERS.

Your project is clearly set to do what it does, there is nothing wrong with it, so yeah youll get positive feedback... just dont run it into the ground trying to get peope to join different programs everyday if you vary them too much.

I checked out yesterdays, but didnt sign up for StupidCash, and most likely wont, nothing to do with HardcoreJ, or your template its just dont count on everyone that downloads template to sign up or to even push the sponsor.

so id try to get money directly from the sponsor for weekly ad spots or to actually be "the featured" sponsor.

webmasters are lazy, anything free, and easy will get them to come. But i wont be signing up for new programs everyday just for a free gallery.

morning ramble...

:thumbsup

Thx for the response:

#1 not acting like it's rocket science, I just want feedback to see what people want and if they are happy with the product.

#2 I don't get referrals from these..the sponsors are paying to be featured :)

#3 My prices for my galleries have gone up, I haven't dropped the prices or ran a special in a long time..so I'm not giving anything away ;)

#4 I'm booked up solid at my full price so it's all good. This is just one of many projects that combined help to make my lifestyle a bit more comfortable.

Thats the thing, you arent really giving them a product.

youre giving them a gallery and recommending a sponsor.

glad youre getting the money up front, otherwise, I dont see why more people will buy templates from you giving them away daily,... but its your project and since you knew enough to get sponsors to PAY to be listed then you thought it out further than just givig them away or dealing with referrals. I knew you didnt make referrals which is why I took the time to post in your thread.

I dont see why anyone wouldnt be satisfied, they just have to download a free template. That is why I made the rocket science comment, who is gonna bitch about free galleries?

As I said, even I download them, and I design multiple galleries everyday, figured it would be cool to take a look, and did so...

anyway, great idea, i am sure it will be beneficial, just concisder it advertising, and dont try to make out to be much more.

Its just a free giveaway and to get purchasers along the way. Its just like the mexican ladies giving away free chips and salsa at the grocery store, do you think they buy more salsa on their way out or do they buy mroe water?

Thknk about it.

I agree with fletch on his points here actually, it's a nice service and I'm sure a lot of webmasters appreciate it, why wouldn't they ;)

Then again I think it's much ado about nothing really, but you sure are spamming it a lot so I suppose more sponsors will wanna get in on it :)

I think they look awesome so far man, keep up the great work :thumbsup

That's all true though it's hard to filter out those real-value highly priced templates versus the thrown together spiced up highly (overly) priced templates..

Cheers,
Matt

Okay enough about "the service," I'm happy...it's successful..this is market research on the "product," the galleries.

Are you happy with it...what do you want to see more of?

Sponsore hosted type galleries?

Clean galleries?

Movie galleries?

What?

LOL no I appreciate your comments honestly I do.

I was just more concerned with what people wanted to see..the webmasters who may use the galleries...and why they wouldn't.

they they they? ;)

Well I myself am one of those.

You think I wouldnt use free templates that I like?

Hell I got my hands in on some sites and I will be looking to get others to make galleries FOR ME now, the tables have turned ;)

I would have used this weeks templates is it wasnt softcore.

The TGPS i get all my traffic from wouldnt list a Softcore gallery so if I was getting them listed, this week of galleries is of no use to me.

I dont rdeal in softcore anyway so these dont help me out otherwise I would have used them ;)

beemk 03-02-2004 12:08 PM

i think its a good thing that you're doing it, but i wouldnt use it due to the fact that i dont want to submit a gallery template that other webmasters are going to be submitting.

eroswebmaster 03-02-2004 12:11 PM

Hardcore is a coming :)

Beemk that's a good point you bring up...I wouldn't suggest using these to submit either.

However if you already have tgps of your own, or traffic coming in from however feel free to use it for that. :)

cosis 03-02-2004 12:18 PM

how about a mix of movie and pics in a gallery? maybe i missed it if u already have them

for my next galleries i am going to add 2 movie clips and 15 pics per gallery

eroswebmaster 03-02-2004 12:43 PM

Cosis thx for the input.
