ARS referral program - Do NOT abuse!
 

This is an official warning to all webmasters who are abusing the ARS Referral Program. The program was NOT created to pay webmasters to post.

The ARS Publisher Referral Program capitalizes on creating a totally new concept in the adult industry; complete 100% monetization of all webmaster/publisher traffic. You now have the opportunity to promote ARS and earn money from each impression AND each click sent! Earn 2X on your traffic. The ARS4Real Publisher Referral Program pays Per Impression COMBINED with Pay Per Click!

HOWEVER, we have noticed much abuse of this feature on some message boards, GFY being the main one. The original intent of the webmaster referral program was not to be used as a message board signature program; although, several people here have used it for that purpose. In an attempt to correct the problem, we will be cutting the payout per CPM in half. 70% of the remaining 50% will be credited to webmasters posting on GFY. The remaining 30% will be credited to GFY. This change will not affect the Per Click Payout. The program and pay rates will continue unchanged for all uses other than a GFY message board sig. To receive the full payout, you must submit your URL, and will receive the full payment amount once approved. Again, this change affects ONLY GFY message board signatures, and not the standard Webmaster Referral Program.

If you are abusing our referral program, we will terminate your ability to utilize this service, period!

Can you define "abuse" for us? Before terminating someone's participation in the program you should let them know that they are "abusing" the program, to give them an opportunity to stop.

Don't confuse a high post count with abuse of the system. Although we may have some idea of what constitutes "abuse," ARS never really defined it for us.

it's ridiculous what's going on with signatures. The very first moment i read about the ars impression referral i understood it wasn't for boards and I was 100% sure we would see such abuse within hours.

You guys should probably take into consideration that 95% of the posts by Non-ARS affiliates are also bullshit posts. That a lot of posts are actually contributing to the board, on a comparison basis.

The idiot posts here non-stop, daylight till dark and even admitted that's what s/he was doing on one of the other boards s/he's putting in 1000's of posts on. I'm just saying that sig whores come in all shapes and sizes. It's not just people flying ARS banners. A lot of people are sig whores to some degree, even you. Unless of course you own Playboy Cash.

I had ARS in my sig for about 3 days and I pulled in over 40 clicks. So much for that theory, huh?

Ok, I have ARS in my sig not just cause they pay me, i have it there cause i use their program and it converts good for me, also i do get clicks on my ars sig all the time, I have pretty high post counts, but I dont just reply a thread with a ":) " and i also post in most threads that webmasters are needing help or something, i also reccomend people to click my sig when they are looking for good reality paysites etc.......sure there are loads of spammers around, but i love to post and joke and so on but i would not call my self a abuser.......

Well, when someone had a 468x60 banner in the sig area and posted :-) in one post, then lol in another, then some other BS in another post, well, you can. This was a simple message from Amber just asking everyone to not post BS like that and to remind everyone using the ARS Referral Program to please make sure to use the 120x60 buttons....that's all.
