I am thinking of using epoch for and do cross selling.
Does cross selling increase chargebacks?

just sell your prechecked crossales and let them worry about cb's

Sure, I am serious. I would assume it will increase my charge back rate, but I have not ever used cross sells.

I have a simple solution that always provides an answer to these
type of questions:

Will chargebacks decrease because of cross sells? No, ofcourse not.

So...


Rule number three in life:
If something doesnt decrease it will increase and vice versa.

If so, here's a better question - would a prechecked customer who forgot to uncheck be :) or :(

100% yes! that is an obvious one! multiple charges on the card make for more chargebacks! People are more likely to let a single charge slide vs seeing 3 to 9 charges!

Topbucks and few other big companies are doing cross sells, how are the getting away with it?

Seems volume is the key.
