I was parked right next to the lifts in the brisbane exhibtition center car park so i could re-load all my shit in the car again when Sexpo finished - I came back at 8pm on sunday to find this:

fucking cunts, the policewoman that answered when i rang asked whether i saw the person who did it, i laughed and said if i had i'd be ringing to say i'd just found someone in a pool of their own blood.... my trusty junior baseball bat can be seen on the far side in the interior pic.. the handle pokes through to the drivers side for occasions such as these.....

BMW's don't have those easy open style door locks, they don't even have a head on them, plus you can't drive unless you enter the pincode.. of course a pro could get around it but not where it was parked.. it was too busy. yeah.. I had a digital camera in the glovebox and cd's in the middle compartment but they couldn't reach far enough through the glass to get them and i think it was too busy an area for them to smash more windows.

I wish, just a lowly 523 with some nice mods.. tv, body kit 18" mags etc.

I had that happen to me once right on Ventura Blvd in Encino Ca.

Fuckers smashed my Benz side window. Didn't take the radio, didn't take my CD's, didn't take anything except 3 quarters I had sitting in the center console. Glass everywhere it was a fucking mess.

All that for .75 cents.

bah.. they'll get caught eventually for doing something else. I didn't even bother getting it fingerprinted or anything, i had to clean up all the glass to pack the rear seats again, they'd never really catch them from this - most thieves aren't totally brain dead and will use some sort of sock or gloves..i went through all that when my house was broken into it's not worth it.. I don't believe in karma or any of that, but given they're petty crooks one day they'll get busted doing something stupid.

Yeah sexpo was ok, sold a few products made some cool contacts.. a bit of an arduous marathon - 48 hours in 4 days but i survived..

I'm sorry! My boyfriend moved into a condo for about 2 months while waiting for his house and someone broke the window and stole his stereo. They also broke part of the dash. I left my door unlocked and someone took my faceplate but not the rest of the stereo...I don't get it.

yeah :) we sold a bunch, not a massive amount, but encouraging, everyone that saw the booth have hysterics.. good feedback from other retailers wanting to stock it.. so yeah things went well.

I think it should be ok mate.. spoken to them a bit I'm not doing anything sneaky like claiming they stole a diamond plated laptop out of the back seat or anything.. it's just a straight smash and grab.. not my fault.. front up the $400 and it's all good. just the time and effort thing that pisses me off.. getting back from the cop station at 12:30am when i should have been home and packed by 10pm. plus driving home from brisvegas with a cardboard window..

Our car's off the road too - a $3.00 drain plug fell out and that was 2 days and they still haven't got the part.

I finally lit a fire under the service manager's bum by calling the dealerships owner - they're now pulling the plug of a showroom model in Maryborough and driving it over here to fit it to ours.
