What's the best age for having kids?
How old were you when you got your first child?
Now, looking back, do you think it was too late or too early?

I don't have kids yet, i think the best age would be about 29 for me...

Not sure about the rest of you, But I wouldnt mind having one when I'm 25 or 26. I'm almost 21 now.

25 is a perfect age i would say to start a family.

Better to have kids when your still young. Less of a age gap and you can keep up with them easier :1orglaugh

Raising kids is for young people. Having had two kids when I was 34 and 37 I can honestly say if I could do it over again I would have had kids at 27 or 28.

I'm 23. I think the best age for me will be 29. But, I'm not having any until I have a nice car and house paid for. And plenty of money in the bank. And a husband that I've been married to for a few years.

I'm 22, married 8 months ago and I don't know when we'll have kids. Having enought money saved and stability is the 1st thing I think about. We need to have fun together yet.

Age has nothing to do with it. It should be based on maturity level.

25-35. My first was born when i was 28 :-)

i agree on a mental level.. but not physical, it can be much harder for older people to bring a child into the world and once there, the energy required to raise a child may be beyond the parents capability.

Prolly 30 . As for me I don't want to have kids. Just thinking about childbirth scares me. Waaaay to much pain to endure even with epidural, and if you're unlucky you might STILL have to give birth
naturally in the 21st century with all its medical advances , like my roommate did.

That would scare me enough to not EVER have children EVER. She bled for almost a MONTH after childbirth, and sometimes the doctors have to cut open your vagina for you to give birth and sew it back up, I think they cut hers open. I would not want to endure that for anyone.

I am 32 and had my first last Monday. I think 32 is the perfect age.

yeah, women sure have the raw end of the deal in this life.. but i'm damn glad my mother went through it all to bring me into the world.. despite the pain involved.. it's a truly selfless act.

i am a firm believer in living your life to the fullest... anything younger then 30 to me just doesnt sound right... your life should be about you as well.. that is just how i feel

30 sounds like the magical number to me.

Earlier and you miss out on too much fun....plus you really haven't learned/earned/traveled/done enough.

(and this is from someone who was traveling and doing lots of different things from age 10 onwards.)


Getting married and having kids prior to 27 or 28 years old is just crazy. You will go through SO MANY changes up to about 30 years old.....you'll hardly recognize yourself.

I definitely agree... I can't imagine anything worse. I don't think that bodes well for my future relationship prospects though.

No such thing as the best age or the right time. I have 2 kids, just glad I had em before I was old, like 30 or something eww, I don't think I could make it then.
