2 questions for SE Gurus
 

1). let's say that a site have a PR 5 and just 5 link on his page.. if this site put a link to my site will be this link more quality that if the site would have 10 hits on his page? how much more quality will be the link in 1st case vis a vis of 2 case?

2). it is possible to inrease the PR to 5 if the sites that link to u have a max. PR4 ?

10 hits? you mean 10 links?

I have no idea what your first question means but the second one is yes. Otherwise nobody would have a PR10. It takes quite a few of the previous PR's to get to the next step but obviously its possible.

As for question 1 I'd say the meaning was if it makes difference to have 5 or 10 links on one PR5 page and if yes how big. Answer would be yes and 50% - link from 10 links page will be 50% less "valuable" (in terms of PR) than one from 5 links page, because PR is distributed equally between all links.
