I've worked with Sony DSC-F717 and it's the best digital camera photo I've ever worked with . All the specs on yours are way better so I guess it will be really good .

I've worked with about 10 cameras including some good canons but right now I only deal with sony cams as they don't break easily and their menu is really good (we work a lot in bars, a beer spilled on the cam or things like that happens sometimes) .

But if you want a real video cam, you'll need to get a better one . The sony cost 4100 and the Panasonic 5500, but the quality is incredible . Much Music and other channels that have to move fast outdoor without a big equipement are using that too.

Not as good as the Canons in that price range.
