EXCLUSIVE Blair slept rough in London during gap year reveals Cherie

TONY Blair used to be a homeless drop-out who slept on a park bench, his wife Cherie has revealed.
The future PM shivered among the down-and-outs near London's Euston station in his failed attempt to become a teenage rock star.
He wandered around the capital with a home-made guitar called Clarence after leaving top Scottish private school Fettes College.
The amazing disclosure about Mr Blair's time on the streets was made at a Downing Street reception hosted by Cherie last week.
She revealed for the first time how told her future husband was forced to sleep rough on a park bench because he was too poor to afford a room or hostel place for the night.
