Fourteen Defence Department staff in Canberra are being investigated after pornographic material was found on their computers.
The Department of Defence has confirmed the public servants are being investigated for breeching the code of conduct relating to the misuse of computers.
The investigation centres on the receiving and circulating of emails with inappropriate material.
