well here's the thing.

marketing evolves.

for those that say there is "too much free porn" they are right.

but the situation may be taking care of itself, thanks to scammers.


shortly i'm making a decision. should i turn off 20,000 autosubmissions/day from gallery submitters to my TGPs?


i mean shit, i already have 2000+ galleries of my own to my own paysites.

and traffic to the TGP sites is generally not growing (at least for me).

and i think i know why.

nowadays, EVERY SINGLE FUCKING DAY when i'm spot checking galleries some asswipe is loading a dialer or trojan onto my machine from one of his galleries. sure my firewall and mcafee anti-virus catches it, but how about for ordinary surfers?

and if this is happening to me, it is happening to surfers when they look at galleries.

and because of this, surfers are losing interest in looking at galleries.

so i would have no problem at all just rotating my own galleries to my own paysites, and kissing off all the autosubmitters all together.

at least then i would know my surfers aren't getting fucked up.

I did this a long time ago, I'm only taking submission in one of my tpgs but only from trusted partners...

what tgp do you run?

I get 10000 auto submission per day. They all go in the Trash, however they all get an auto reply telling them they were approved. That way, you get a few extra hits per day absolutely free from people clicking on the recip button on the galleries; anywhere from 500 to 1500 per day. And the auto submissions keep on flowing.

but i am uncomfortable scamming other people to avoid getting scammed myself.

most autosubmits are OK.

but now about 3-5% are showing up with dialers and trojans.

and autogallery does have a utility to check for this, but it is slow and buggy, and can't keep up with the volume of autosubmissions.

my point is it is turning off the surfers, fucking up their machines, so ultimately they can't even use their machines.

lots of machines on the blink all over the world.

don't believe me, look at adult traffic figures in the aggregate.

generally down across the board for almost everyone.

and this does affect signups.

if you fuck with the surfer, you are fucking with your own business.

I post only from partners. I have only like 50 partners who post daily and never ever got a dialer in like 2 years. And no the TGP model is not dead by far!

well trusted partner idea is OK.

problem is you lose a high volume of recips when you go that route.

that's why i allow autosubmit.

recip is required,

and i get 20K recips daily.

so it's a compromise situation, that needs careful evaluation.
