Sponsors, do you actively seek out abuse?
 

Just doing a google search in news.admin.net-abuse.sightings for a few sponsor names brings up a bunch of spam emails sent by affiliates, just wondering if sponsor owners actually seek out this type of abuse...

Also, doing a generic google groups search for some sponsors brings up blatant spam in posts to groups completely unrelated to the adult industry.

What are you doing to keep your reputation being ruined by this kind of behavior?

I dont believe many do very actively, but this will change I am sure as the new laws by the US government get passed. It does pay to know who your affiliates are and how exactly they are sending you your sales.

A lot of sponsors do intentionally turn a blind eye to spam though although they will tell you differently. Its no secret that email is one of the biggest revenue streams out there.

I read through all my stat files daily and see scripts and bots from ARS, WEG, & CE. I've even seen them cacheing pages. I've learned a ton since reviewing my stat files. I use a free version of axs.
