Picked up Max Payne 2 Today

However I can't play it :(

I haven't played a game since Christmas Eve and Day when I played Max Payne 1 all the way through...LOL

I'm a jonesing for some bullet time action.

Why can't you play it?

I downloaded the demo... looked pretty awesome, those bullet time scenes were lots of fun... long cut scenes though.

Great game... and if you enjoy that series, I highly suggest picking up True Crime: Streets of LA for XBox if you haven't played already. I actually rented it from the local Blockbuster for my 4 year old son... I didn't realize that the game was as mature theme based as it was. Anyways, he can't play it (adult language) so I did. Fucking addictive! :1orglaugh

You didn't realize a game titled "True Crime: Streets of LA" is probably not going to be approriate for a 4 year old? Not to mention that big "M" for intended for mature audiences. :D

Well, I try not to be one of those stuffy Dad's. I let him play Halo (Which is rated M) as well. Some of the games out there are Mature rated based on video game violence. I didn't think that they would be saying "FUCK" & "NIGGA" All the while with old school EPMD playing in the background.... heh. Anyways, the game kicks ass and has a great story line.... blows Vice City out of the water... oh yeah, I let him play the GTA series also :thumbsup

Max Payne 2 is a kick ass game. My only complaint is that it's kinda short like the first one.

True Crime looks really good and driving around LA while sitting on your couch is cool but the game is buggy(tends to freeze) and I got tired of it pretty fast.

That's what my wife keeps saying :winkwink: I never had it lock up on me at all. My brother in law's XBox locks up and he thinks it's due to the XBOX live software that it automatically downloaded... I wouldn't know... Don't use Live.

At first I thought maybe it was a problem with my X-Box itself but it only happened when playing True Crime. Then I saw "random freezing" mentioned as a problem in the True Crime-Streets of LA review on tech tv.

My favorite game of late for Xbox is Crimson Skies.
Pretty fun online ;)

There's something wrong with you if you don't like Max Payne.

Btw, I love owning CS kiddies. I'd say CS is one of the worst games out now, there are so much better online FPS games out there now.

I just bought Max Payne 1... I haven't taken time to play it yet either.... once I do I will probably be addicted until I finish it :thumbsup

Max Payne was a great game. I havent touched my Xbox in well over a year, but if i start playing again, Max Payne 2 will be the game I get.
