Niche paysite?
 

I've read up on starting paysites from threads on GFY and other boards and I've also talked to a few that have experience in this. Everyone has said to stay away from teen because its oversaturated even though there is a huge market for it. I've also been told that i have a better chance with a niche paysite. How niche should a paysite be? if you go too niche, what is the likelihood that it would survive? I can sell college girls, big tits, and hairy pussy. :eek7 hell, i could start a paysite on big breasted college girls with hairy pussy. but the content isn't the easiest to find.

what other niches are there that are popular? I need to start out small as my budget is small. my budget will grow in the coming months because of mainstream ventures that will help fuel it

Despite common rumors that teen niche is oversold I was rather amazed to see that my premium teen AVS sells very well, though the content there is mostly pretty old and somewhat exposed on TGPs. So teens sell.

But speaking about niches - I usually recommend people to stick with what they like. If you don't like niche fetishes you are trying to sell, then probably you do not understand them and then you most likelly won't succeed.

i'm still very new here but i see Madcap's got a lot posts on GFY and that he mentioned at the time of the thread above, he had 15 paysites

You still have teen avs sites? I was thinking of starting my site off as an avs first and letting it grow from there. but what happens when I want to convert it to a paysite? what happens to the avs members that I? should i keep them that way and just get new members through the paysite ?

AVS is good at start, if you do not have a lot of content, good hosting and enough money to set up a good billing solution. As for me I think it was rather mistake to start with AVS, I had enough content and possibilities to buid a paysite then. Anyway, it was educating in some way. I can tell you that you have very little control over your members with AVS (it causes a lack of feedback also), and there are other disadvantages which I don't want to mention to do not shit anyone specific. But at other hand - AVS sites convert better, especially free ones like SexKey.
