not only can he work a mic better than just about anyone in the game, he was the best at making his opponent look good while making himself look good. You just don't see that trait in today's wrestlers. They're too busy trying to look better than their opponents and show them up *cough*Undertaker*cough*


I also love watching any match feturing Mick Foley. He could take a bump like no other, dish out the brutality and work that stick like crazy...the only wrestler to make me laugh until I had tears in my eyes and cry like a bitch with a skinned knee...

The greatest Foley interview of all time was his "I lost my ear" speech in ECW...pure classic and of course his legendary "King Of Death" match with Terry Funk that saw both of those sick bastards nearly bleed to death....

after foley got trhown from the top of the cage, went thru the table his TEETH were coming out thru his FACE.. , unconcious for 3 minutes,.. got back up..choke sklammed thru the top of the cage
then the thumbtacks came out

for comedy, i loved the rock and sock connection skits. those were great

oddly enough, I just got back from dropping my kids off at grammas for a couple weeks during their track break at school and one of the first threads I saw was this one ;-))

I love that match...pure classic and majorly unscripted (I loved Foley talking about it on his "3 Faces Of Foley" compilation tape)

unfortunately the wwe cheapened it by doing more flying of cage spots but the wrestlers would land on a pickup truck mysteriously filled with hay or other bullshit like that.

foley also had the best book of all the wrestlers. great read

He has alot of classic matches from ecw. WWE hasnt used him very well for the most part. He could be a huge superstar.

Mick Foley for sure, a guy that will go to his lengths just to give the fans their moneys worth is # 1 in my book.

I'm a huge fan too...he needs a couple more years under his belt to enter "best ever" territory

I have a weakness for the spot guys...
Sabu, The Hardys, The Duddley Boyz (anyone remember Big Dick Duddley in ECW? he had some hilarious promos), Terry Funk, Abdullah The Butcher, Jerry Lynn, Axl and Ian Rotten, etc.

One of the all time great atches though was a 60 minute Fatal Fourway in ECW with Cris Jericho (just before he left for WCW), Raven, Pitbull #2 and Shane Douglas...it was a total bloodbath and a rare 60 minute match that had no real rest time, just 60 minutes of pure madness with all four guys blading the shit out of themselves and one of the loudest pops I've ever heard when Jericho won the match (it was a pop for all four guys, not just Jericho).

hands down the most badass technically sound wrestler ever.

Watch lance storm, chris jericho, kanyon, and chris benoit as they all have a bit of the spirit of DK in them today.

A total badass with a chip on his shoulder, and a tragic story...

pick up his book off amazon its a good read.
