NCAA Basketball Fans

Who do you think will win it all this year?

Being close to Philly, I'd love to see St. Joe's go undefeated an win it all. Of course playing Gonzaga in the Finals, I can see the headlines now:

"Jesuits Gone Wild"

Yeah I am a big fan! I'd like to see the Duke Blue Devils go all the way!:thumbsup

swoop 02-28-2004 07:40 PM

Is there a GFY NCAA pool??

I like Duke too and the Cameron Crazies, but the better story would be a undefeated team especially a small school like St. Joes to win it.

Sosa 02-28-2004 07:42 PM

I will put money down right now that St. Joes does not win it.

GO DUKE!

swoop 02-28-2004 08:05 PM

Ughh oh!!

Santa Clara is down by 11 at halftime

Will this be the game they finally lose??

tbabe 02-28-2004 08:06 PM

DUKE!!!!

Paul Waters 02-28-2004 08:07 PM

Anyone but Duke.

I'm still pissed that they stopped UNLV from a perfect season.

St. Joe's is over rated. I went to the game today. The refs screwed URI big time.

The HAWK will never die :)

Come on, URI had two chances to win or put that game in OT.

They did but the refs were calling everything on the Rams and nothing on St. Joe's (this was throughout the whole game).

The turning point was on that in bounds when Hellenga forgot to step back in bounds before they passed it back to him. They were up by 2 w/ a minute and a half left then.

swoop 02-28-2004 08:20 PM

St. Joe's only shot like 32% and URI still couldn't win. I don't think it was the refs that blew this game.

On bad calls, yeah. URI only hit 1 3-pt though you had to be there to see the horrible calls. :2 cents:

I'm not a huge Rhody fan so I'm not being biased but it was obvious the refs fucked up. (True that RI should have put them away though.)

sickkittens 02-28-2004 08:24 PM

But my point was that St. Joe's is over rated.

Atlantic 10 is a crappy conference. :2 cents:

well we shall see, perhaps they will play in the A-10 t-ment.

Overrated is so unfair. to go undefeated all season is a HUGE accomplishment no matter what conf., they play in.

if you look at the RPI the A-10 believe it or not is rated right near the top in terms of confrences. although i will admit, i think the big-12, acc and perhaps the big-ten are better confrence wise.

That would be a good game again. Although I don't think URI would win it. The place was going crazy which helped them out I think.

Yep UConn *Almost lost to Nova today though* and Pitt is also good this year.

Forgot about them.

TurboAngel 02-28-2004 09:51 PM

I'm a Tarheals fan myself, Turboface doesn't like it when I watch them play. I yell at the T V and everything! LOL

They didn't do that well so I would have to say Duke!

:winkwink:

Hue G. Pness 02-28-2004 10:16 PM

The ACC is all over the tourney this year. St. Joe's is way over rated and my guess is they won't get past the 3rd round.

very good game. espn kept showing the replay with what could of been a game turing foul on Okafor from Uconn, pretty questionable non-call.

Yeah, looked like he bumped him. That guy should have shot earlier anyways.

sickkittens 02-28-2004 10:24 PM

Anyone here going to any of the tournies?
