I hate riding on long island,,,2 much traffic and people drive like asses.

That why i loved riding my RM125,,just me and the dirt.

I lived in Rockland County for a bit. Bear Mountain is in Duchess I think...I can't remember. Probably about 90 minutes from the City. On a nice summer Sunday you might run into a thousand or so other people on bikes.
