What makes you decide yeah? These guys are legit..I want to make money with them?

For me it's

Revshare/Rebills (Make more cash this way)
24-7 Tech support (Not just I will look into your account!)
Hosted Content
Hosted Movies/Webcams.
Good payout rates! :thumbsup
Easy to use webmaster area.
A very EASY to use stats area (Impressions/clicks/rawclicks/uniques)
Payouts are weekly. Many methods of ways to cut your check
Prizes random perks (Prize Faults)
Tickets to webmaster conventions. Private partys..
I always like people that have a positive professional business attitude (remember we are working for them not the other way around)
If something goes against the TOS and you didn't know they contact you hey could you please change this? It goes against our TOS. Not LIKE (TERMED NO MONEY FOR YOU)

<LI>Can get to the signup page without being told my multiple valid email addies are invalid (20%-40% of paysites are like this at the moment)
<LI>Payment by Paypal or Epassport (I hate checks, since I move every couple years, annoying to update all those addies)
<LI>Random Prizes for doing certain # of sales or rebills in a month. Cash, or small prizes.
<LI>Support that doesn't ask me what a FPA means.

its has to be attractive enough to want to make me sign up..
and offer some descent enough content.
as well as being able to contact support and get a response in a timely manner.

the sites.. if i would think about signing up for one of their sites, then im sure customers would too. And free content is nice.

Unique sites, good content, update frequently. If they have a good rep etc.

From where do you know, that a program will shave you, before you sign up??? do they write it now on the main page?

I am sure you will notice if a program is shaving HITS/Traffic from you.

Word of mouth. Also when conversion DROP for no reason then go back up..

Trust me you can tell most of the time if your being shaved

For me it's mainly decent promo content. Of course I prefer hosted but I would rather host decent stuff myself than to link to crap.

What will send me away from a program is if they never update the promo material. Sponsors who have primarily straight sites but decide to toss in a gay one or two are worst at this. One I was looking at the other day had the dates added by the hosted galleries. All of the straight sites galleries had been regularly updated and the latest was 3 days prior. The 6 galleries promoting their gay site had not been updated for 7 months. Another sponsor has the same 2 zip files of the same model up for nearly 2 years since I first saw their program.

Another main thing that will determine if I promote a sponsor is whether or not they feel entitled to take my traffic. Nothing will send me away from a sponsor than having the surfer's attention drawn away from the link I get credit for by consoles for more attractive offers or sheer number of their own links. If I didn't send the traffic to you, you wouldn't have gotten the sale. Share all sales from my traffic or go get your own traffic.

I had it happen to one that now advertises on the board here when they were still fairly new. People learn and evolve. Amusing to see companies grow from nobodies to well known.
