Ipod owners - car adapter?
 

What's better the FM transmitter or the cassette adapter? I'm leaning towards the FM transmitter but wondering if the cassette may be better.

the itrip fm transmitter kind of sucks.

The version I have anyway. I *always* use the tape adapter over the itrip.

But the itrip is cool if you are out somewhere.

If you have an aftermarket head unit, why not just get an adapter that allows you to send the microphone jack out to the back of your stereo? The quality would be much better than either of those other options... And less messy

I find the cassette adapter works well, or sometimes i just hook the ipod up to the speakers directly

the fm transmitter gives you bad reception, having a set-up where it plugs into your sound system directly is the best
