having problems with my PC..need help

my pc is acting weird......first the change of the text (went from Med to Smallest..thats i fixed).

but now when i shut down, instead of automatically shutting off, it stays on and says "Windows is now shutting down." So i have to manually shut it off.

Can anyone help me get my pc to shut down automatically again??? :helpme

Write down what files are missing and search what they are needed for - you may be able to remove the reference to them on the registry.

Also, Click start -->Run-->type msconfig-->Then click the startup tab, check if there is anything funky that startsup and may be giving you trouble when you shut down.
