Here in Brazil it's way more than 12% (29% diesel and 52% gas)

That's all taxes, not just federal.

They all get in on the action here. The Feds grab a piece, the state grabs a piece, the county grabs a piece, and even the cities are starting to get in on the pie now.

On the dutch news they were saying today that Bin Laden has been catched a while ago but Bush wants to keep it secret until closer to the elections.

I don't believe that for a minute. They would never risk the election to the number of witnesses who could come forward to say when he was taken. If you want to play conspiracies, they might have some dead Bin Laden DNA to produce when needed but he's not being held live anywhere, JMHO.
