How many friends do you really have
 

I am not talking acquaintances, I am talking about true friends who you can depend on and who you really trust. I have only a few real friends. Friendship is a serious thing, and can be dangerous.

Wow. Tricky question. I'd have to say more than 20, less than 40.

I know I consider a lot my friends, but who knows what they think of me. :(

i'd say about 200 friends..and then 15-20 that can acutally be counted on.

other ones are just 'watever' there to kick it, but not there if needed help. would prob flake out

Probably about 3 who I can count on.

The rest are just good friends I hang around with, but whom I would never place anything crucial in their hands.

i think i have only four really good and honest friends.

Most of the others try to be my friend because they want a piece of the money i have.

hrmm hard to say i dont really trust many. kinda saying they are bad friends? i would have to say the people i can trust the most and are my best friends are my brother and his gf. i know they are always there.

Id say between 15 - 20 that can be relied on all the time.

It is human instinct to take care of oneself before any other. Given the right situation even the best of friends will break. Sad but true.

Very true. I think "I am a A Rock" by Simon & Garfunkel says it best. It is too bad, the only person you can really trust is yourself.
